GOD’S SOLUTION TO INJUSTICES

There is no peace until there is justice. One thing is sure: judgment will come for everyone. But the question is: when it comes, will you be convicted or acquitted?

There is no peace until there is justice, that’s a fact. However, this is more complicated than it seems.

The concept of justice is embedded within every human being. We have the sensitivity to know when an injustice is committed regardless of the religious background we may have.

Where does this sense of justice come from? It comes from God! This is one of the greatest proofs of God’s existence and that we were created in His image and likeness. We long for justice, but at the same time, realise it’s impossible to get it perfectly in this life. But why? Let’s look at how the justice of the world presents itself to us.

For example, when someone’s child is murdered, how will human justice repair this? Arresting the killer will not take away the parents’ pain, nor will it bring the murdered son back.

We see that human justice cannot repair such damage.

So, we have a great dilemma: on one hand, the human heart cries out for justice, and on the other, we have a poor representation of true justice in this world. How can we solve this?

Only God will bring perfect justice and judge perfectly because He is the perfect Judge. He shows no partiality.

Do you believe in God’s justice? You say, “Yes, I believe in it!” Great, but God’s justice will apply to you too! We will all be judged, and who can walk free from this court unscathed?

So, understand that by believing in perfect Divine Justice, you bring justice to yourself, a justice that will also condemn you because you have failed; we all fail.

Therefore, Divine Justice, in its perfection, provides forgiveness to solve this dilemma.

No one stands a chance before the Divine Court. However, when we show proof of our faith in the Lord Jesus, our belief in Him gives us access to the payment for our sins that has brought us forgiveness: the blood of the Lord Jesus. Therefore, our problem with justice is solved with this forgiveness.

Forgiveness is the only solution to the injustices we commit. If you don’t forgive, by default you are unjust, and commit injustice.

Only God gives perfect forgiveness, and because He gives it to us, the least He expects from us is that we also give it to others.

Without justice, there is no peace, but without forgiveness, there is no perfect justice.
