GOD AND THE WORKERS' DAY: 1 OUTBURST + 1 LESSON
Choices can either delay your life or make you evolve! Choose to be a leader and have a prosperous life not only on the outside but mainly from within.
I have some suggestions for you for this year’s Worker’s Day. The first is an outburst; the other is the Word of God to the worker.
Let’s go with the outburst first, right? You should know that today the minimum wage had a net increase of eighteen Reais (the Brazilian currency). I am sure that the government would even like to give a more significant increase to the worker. But the government knows that it would simply damage the economy in the country even more. Why? How will the business owner give an even higher salary to their employees when the government takes from them two or even three times the cost of their salary? That is, the employee costs a boss two or even three times the value of their salary. Because the more they pay an employee, the more they have to pay the government. That’s the story no one talks about. And the government still wants to increase taxes even more. How will employers employ more people? Will they improve people’s wages when they must keep paying taxes and more taxes?
So, this is my first outburst. If you want a solution, try not to vote for governments that will raise taxes in the next elections.
Now let’s go to the Word of God, which is what matters to you.
Psalm 128 is one that every worker who wants to learn from the ways of God must meditate and practice naturally.
“Blessed is every one who fears the Lord, who walks in His ways. When you eat of the labor of your hands, you shall be happy, and it shall be well with you.” Psalm 128:1,2
When it says, “You eat of the labor of your hands, ” it means that your work will be enough to support you and your family. You will not depend on the government, friends, family, or anyone and will only depend on your own hands.
“…you shall be happy, and it shall be well with you”: This is an essential point because many people even eat from the labour of their hands, but they are not happy because they know that a lot of their money comes from illicit things. Many people work, but their work does not bring them pleasure or satisfaction. But the Word of God says that the man who fears God will be happy with the labour of their hands. Of course, with fights. This will reflect in your house as well. Because what’s the point of working, having money and getting home and having no one to enjoy?
