For the teachers

Imagem de capa - For the teachers

…If teaching is your gift, then teach well. – Romans 12:7

Who doesn’t remember a good teacher? Who hasn’t been impacted by one? Teachers have the power to plant good seeds inside a young mind. Even though the importance of a teacher is not adequately recognized, they should be faithful to their calling and do the best for their students.

Great teachers were never recognized in their time. Some were only recognized after death, this was the case with the Lord Jesus, who was a teacher of God’s law (John 3:2.) However, this didn’t stop him from teaching and doing it with great dedication and effectiveness. He knew that recognition for his work would come exclusively from those who had been benefited by what he did.

A teacher should think like this as well. His reward is to know that he changed his student’s life for the better.

P.S. I’m not saying that a teacher’s salary is not important. We should obviously do everything to reward good teachers. Regardless of this, the point I’m trying to make is that the value of a teacher is not measured in money.

P.S.S. Do you remember a teacher who made a great difference in your life? Why? And for those who are teachers – what are your biggest challenges? Leave your comments below.
