FAITH SPEAKS TO INANIMATE THINGS - AND THEY OBEY!

Do you know what faith is? It doesn't see distance nor difficulties. But have you been using it the way it should?

On Holy Monday, the day after the Lord Jesus entered Jerusalem; Palm Sunday, He went from Sunday to Monday in Bethany, next to Jerusalem. Then, the Lord Jesus returned to the city and saw a fig tree on the way. He was hungry and saw leaves on it. They indicated that the tree would bear fruit, but nothing was found. The Lord Jesus, in fact, already knew that there was nothing there, but He used the situation to leave a very precious lesson for us all.

The Word says: “And seeing a fig tree by the road, He came to it and found nothing on it but leaves, and said to it, “Let no fruit grow on you ever again.” Immediately the fig tree withered away” (Matthew 21:19). He spoke words to the fig tree as if it was a person. And in this, we find a lesson about faith. Faith speaks with inanimate things as if they were alive and had ears, minds, and souls. And that’s how faith works. In another event, the Lord Jesus spoke to the wind and the sea. The voice of faith knows no limits of distance; it knows no limits of physical or spiritual elements. Faith speaks with cancer, headache or misery. Faith is the voice of God Himself.

Many think faith is linked to the power of just speaking to God. Yes, faith also gives us the power to pray. But there are things we don’t need to cry out to God for. For example, when God gave power to Moses to use the rod to perform miracles. God told Moses to touch the sea to open the way. And that’s what happened. It’s as if you’ve already taught your son how to use the bathroom, but whenever he feels like it, he asks you to take him. And you say: “My son, you already know. Go there. The bathroom is open.” In other words, there are things that children have the ability, power, and autonomy to do on their own, once they have learned. In the same way, this is how God acts with us. And few people use this power, as demonstrated by the fig tree.

Sometimes in our lives, we have to talk to inanimate things and speak to the problem itself. How many testimonies have I seen from people who have been cured of cancer and other diseases exactly like this, talking to the body: “Cancer, you chose the wrong body. This body doesn’t belong to you. Get out of here. I don’t want you here.” I’ve seen people using faith like this. It may seem crazy; you can’t understand it from the human point of view, but this is absolutely normal from the viewpoint of faith. Because in the hierarchy of God’s creation, we are just below the angels. So, everything else that was created was created below us in the hierarchy. We have authority over this (including the devil).

The question for you this Holy Monday is: have you been using the power of your faith to talk to problems and obstacles so that things leave your way? Have you used your mouth correctly to curse the problem and not yourself? In Jesus’ shoes, many people would curse when they arrived at that tree and did not find fruit. Many people have used their mouths to curse themselves instead of cursing the problem. Use your words to wither away difficulties, depression, sense of disability, and weakness. Use your voice to wither away the problem that is around you. God gives you the same faith that He gave to the Lord Jesus.

It is written: “For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says” (Mark 11:23).

That’s why the Church exists. It’s a school of faith and you need to come to receive this. A faith that will move mountains.
