DO I NOT DESERVE IT, BUT DO I?
The combination of humility and boldness that activates God's response.
I ask you a question: can two opposite truths exist at the same time?
In faith, yes – and that makes all the difference.
On the one hand, you think: “I don’t deserve anything from God.”
On the other hand, you need to believe: “Even so, He can answer me.”
When you understand this, your faith stops being passive and starts working.
The mistake of many
Many people believe in God, but annul themselves all the time: “Who am I to ask for something?”
With this thought, a person accepts everything and does not react. In other words, humility becomes conformism.
But true faith doesn’t work like that.
The example that changes everything
The Bible shows this clearly in an episode with Jesus Christ.
A foreign woman, desperate for her daughter, went to Jesus. She didn’t ask for permission, she didn’t diminish herself – she just threw herself at His feet.
Even when she heard a harsh word, she was not offended. On the contrary, she kept the focus.
The secret of the answer
She said:
“Yet even the little dogs under the table eat from children’s crumbs.” (Mark 7:28)
With that, she showed two things at the same time:
She recognised that she was not worthy
But she believed that Jesus could help her
Result?
Jesus replied: The miracle has already happened.
The faith you need
Here’s the point:
You need a faith that:
Keeps you humble
But also make you act
God does not respond to your merit. He responds to your faith in His Word.
Conclusion
Don’t let the thought of “I don’t deserve it” stop you. Use this to humble yourself – but never to give up.
Just like that woman, approach with faith and say: “Lord, a crumb is enough.”
And when this faith comes into action, the response does not take long.
Watch the video until the end and find out how a foreign woman received the miracle by faith.
