DIED AND LEFT A NOTE: "Because of you, I had to do this"
Did you know that the biggest event in history has to do with you? Yes, and on top of that, it's your fault
If you were surprised by the news that someone died because of you, someone died saying that the culprit for their death was you, what would you do? You would try to find out who the person is and why they would have said that. You would be stunned, looking for an answer and wondering: “what did I do to make this person die?” We wouldn’t say: “it’s their problem”.
Hold the information that the Son of God died for you. God sent His Son to die for you on this earth. And we are to blame for His death. The death of the Lord Jesus was not His fault or the Father’s. And I ask you: what have you ever done to at least know who the Son of God was and why He died?
In The Word of God is written: “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God” (John 3:17-18). Thus, this does not mean that the whole world will be saved; the Word says that only those who believe will be. He allows everyone, but not everyone believes in Him.
Therefore, you should, at the very least, try to understand what happened. The coming of the Lord Jesus to this world was real. He was indeed resurrected. They are indisputable facts (biblical and extra-biblical). After the crucifixion, He appeared to more than 500 people (1 Corinthians 15:6). They were witnesses who were so sure of what they saw that they were willing to die for what they saw.
Jesus existed. He walked on this earth, died on the cross, rose again on the third day, and left us His Word and His teachings and the opportunity of Salvation from our faults, mistakes and sins (which are already condemning us). Every mistake goes through a type of correction; the more serious the mistake, the greater the correction. And what will be the correction for us who have spent our whole lives sinning? The Righteous Judge will judge us. “Believing in Him” is doing what He says. Do you do what He says? The choice is yours.
