ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER, THE MOST MISERABLE MAN IN THE WORLD?
What do you think happens to people after death? See Arnold Schwarzenegger's revelation about death and what this thought says about him.
Someone asked Arnold Schwarzenegger what happens when we die, and he replied: “Nothing. You will be seven feet under the ground, and anyone who says anything else is a liar.”
He continued: “We don’t know what happens to the soul.” Here, he contradicts himself because he first says nothing will happen and then doesn’t know. “We do not know what happens to the soul and all these spiritual things, which I am not an expert.” Here’s a tip: if you’re not an expert in something, it’s better not to give your opinion.
“I know that the body, as we see it now, we will never see it like this again.” At this point, he is correct because the Word of God says that the saved will receive a glorified body, like the Lord’s (1 Corinthians 15:42). And people who will live eternally away from God will also have a new body and will suffer in such a way that they will be disfigured in their eternal pain and agony.
Arnold also said: “Except in some make-believe stories”. In other words, Heaven is a make-believe story for him. “This is the sad part. I know people feel comfortable with death, but I don’t because I will miss everything. Like, sitting here with you, will this one day end? Have fun, go to the gym, work out, ride a bike on the beach, travel, and see interesting things worldwide. Is this going to end?”
Let’s take advantage of this absurdity that, unfortunately, he said and believed. I feel sorry for him that he thinks this way because if the best he can experience is going to the gym or travelling, I feel sorry for him.
“If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable” (1 Corinthians 15:19). That is, who waits only for the things of this life, no matter how much they may reach (by the way only a few people have achieved success like Arnold Schwarzenegger in life), how miserable this person is. Because I am going to tell you one thing: what God has prepared for those who are His is infinitely greater and beyond our imagination and much better than there is in this world. God says in Revelation that He will create a New Heaven and Earth.
I’m just using what Arnold said to show what the Word of God says because many people believe what he says because he is famous.
This belief is unfounded. And this is what happens when a person denies the existence of God in their life. And to sustain this denial, they have to eliminate the afterlife. Even if everything screams inside them that life is not just here, they must try to justify it and, thus, deny it. If I deny the existence of God, I have to deny the afterlife. As Paul said: “And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty” (1 Corinthians 15:14). That is, our entire faith is based on the resurrection of Christ.
I believe that God, as a loving Father, is preparing something to surprise us. Christ said, “He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live” (John 11:25). If you believe, don’t be afraid of death. Because, as Paul said, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
