An old book with a red cover

Imagem de capa - An old book with a red cover

The year was 1986. The book cover, of that time, was all red with the title “Healing the sick,” in large white letters. It would call anybodys attention, and I was no exception.

The author T.L Osborn, was a great American evangelist who died at 89 last February. Osborn converted at a young age and traveled to India as a missionary. He talks about how he failed miserably at proving to the Hindus that Jesus Christ was the one and only God, and not just another god amongst the thousands that they believed in. He returned to America in shame.

That’s when Osborn had his faith awakened to what Jesus sent His disciples to do: cure the sick and rebuke demons. These signs would surely put Jesus above every other god. This discovery revolutionized his ministry.

In the pages of his book, Osborn offers a solid foundation of faith. The book is useful to people seeking a cure as well as assistants, pastors, and those who work in ministry. In each page, your faith is strengthened, your eyes are opened, and you develop the courage to do today what Jesus and the disciples did in Israel two thousand years ago.

This book opened my eyes to a bold faith, a faith also practiced from the beginning of The UCKG.

If you haven’t read it, you’re losing out. As for those who have read it, you will be surely renewed if you read it again.

I recommend this book to all those who do the Work of God, and fight to undo the work of the devil.
