Who likes being hated? I don’t think anyone does. However, the Lord guarantees that this feeling will always pursue His followers throughout the world. If by chance, the disciple doesn’t experience the scorn and hate of this world, then certainly he has nothing to do with Him. Whoever wants to avoid being a target of such things, should simply deny their faith.


Many have embraced the Christian faith, but sooner or later, there comes a time when they need to face their decision. Unfortunately, it’s at this time that many prefer to cowardly back out, just to save their own skin. For those, here’s a warning:


But whoever disowns Me before men, I will disown him before my Father in heaven. Matthew 10:33


God allows this to happen to those who are called. But only those who’ve been hated and stood firm until the end will be chosen.


All men will hate you because of Me, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. Matthew 10:22


…you will be hated by all nations because of Me. Matthew 24:9

Everyone will hate you because you are My followers. But the one who endure to the end will be saved. Mark 13:13


All men will hate you because of Me. Luke 21:17
