Pirated faith

Pearls are a metaphor for the profound truths of the Kingdom of God—truths that are revealed to His little ones, who are sincere and hunger for eternal salvation.

In the Word of God, dogs and pigs are used to symbolise hypocrites. These are people who carry around a “pirated” faith. They have an uncommitted faith that won’t let them deny themselves, or take up their cross to follow in the footsteps of Jesus (Matthew 16.24-26).

Their faith is pirated because it can’t guarantee that God’s divine promises will ever come true, in the same way that pirated products can’t guarantee that they can perform as well as the authentic product.

Pirated faith, like pirated products, is filled with short-cuts, illusions and emotions. It’s short-lived and deceptive. No wonder the victims of pirated faith keep increasing every day. You can find them anywhere. In fact, it’s even easier to find someone with a pirated faith than it is to find someone with authentic faith.

Jesus calls pirated believers hypocrites.

What kind of faith do you have? Authentic or pirated?
