The Jeep
While fulfilling his civic duty in the Army, a young man was made fun of for being a Christian.
One day, his superior tried to pull a prank on him in attempt to humiliate him in front of the whole platoon.
– Come here soldier!
– Yes, sir.
– Hold this key. Now take that jeep and park it over there.
– But, sir, you know perfectly well that I don’t know how to drive.
- I didn’t ask you for an explanation, soldier. Go to the jeep and do as I said.
– But, sir, I don’t know how to drive!
– So, ask your God for help. Show us that He exists.
The fearless soldier grabbed the key from his superior’s hand and walked over to the vehicle. He got in, sat at the driver’s seat and immediately started praying: “Lord, you know that I can’t drive. Guide my hands and show these people that You are faithful. I trust You and know You can help me. Amen.”
The young man maneuvered the vehicle perfectly and parked it just like his superior had asked.
As he got out of the vehicle, he saw his whole platoon crying; some were even on their knees.
– “What happened guys?” asked the soldier.
– “We want your God, soldier. What do we have to do to get him?” asked his superior.
– Just accept him as your Lord and Savior. But why have you all decided to accept my God?
Wiping away the tears, his superior grabbed him by the shirt collar and took him over to the jeep. When they got to the vehicle, he opened the hood and saw that it didn’t have a motor!
GOD TAKES CARE OF HIS OWN. Always remember that!
