God has always had to look at the last, at the despised, the wretched, the weakest, the disabled, those people who, humanly speaking, no one gives anything for them.

In Corinthians, He says:

But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence. 1 Corinthians 1:27-29

In addition, the Lord Jesus also states:

So the last will be first, and the first last. For many are called, but few chosen. Matthew 20:16

In other words, God calls everyone, but not everyone comes. Some who are called come, but among the called, few are chosen.

And how do you make yourself chosen by God? When you believe to the point of surrendering your life entirely to God.
