SHAME OR BLESSING

Being unjustly accused, having your name attacked, and being the target of lies because of your faith is nothing new.

They did it to the prophets. They did it to the Son of God Himself.

Jesus didn’t ask His followers to despair when this happened. He said something that defies human logic: “Rejoice.”

“Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.” Matthew 5.11-12
