HOW TO KNOW THAT JESUS IS ALIVE?
The resurrection of Jesus is not just history - it is a reality that continues to be proven in the lives of those who seek Him.
Faith is not believing in something empty – it is responding to a proven truth. And this is precisely what the Holy Spirit, through the apostle Paul of Tarsus, teaches us: if Christ has not risen, our faith is vain. (1 Corinthians 15:14-17)
That is, the whole basis of Christianity depends on a fact: the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The basis of the Christian faith
First of all, you need to understand something essential. If Jesus had not overcome death, Christianity would be just one more religion among many others. However, because He resurrected, He proved to be much more than religion.
He revealed Himself as the way, the truth and the life.
In addition, the Word of God states that, just as He conquered death, those who believe will also win. This is not a symbolic promise – it is a spiritual guarantee based on a historical fact.
Evidence that goes beyond history
On the other hand, we are not talking about any narrative that has spread over time. Scripture itself reports that more than 500 people saw the resurrected Jesus.
And more: those who saw Him not only believed – they sustained this faith until the end of life. Many died because of this conviction.
And here is an important point: no one gives their own life for what they know to be a lie. Therefore, the courage of the first Christians reveals the certainty they had – Jesus was alive.
What happened after the resurrection?
Soon after resurrecting, Jesus did not disappear immediately. On the contrary, for 40 days, He presented Himself with indisputable evidence and talked about a specific subject: the Kingdom of God.
This shows that His message hasn’t changed.
From the beginning of the ministry until after the resurrection, the focus remained the same: calling people to repentance and seeking the Kingdom of God.
Two kingdoms, one choice
Consequently, this message reveals a reality that many ignore: there are two kingdoms in conflict.
On the one hand, the Kingdom of God.
On the other hand, the kingdom of this world, marked by darkness.
And there is no middle ground. Each person is in one or the other.
Therefore, Jesus taught clearly: it is necessary to seek the Kingdom of God first. It’s not automatic, it doesn’t happen by chance – it requires a decision.
The current proof: the Holy Spirit
But maybe you ask yourself: “How can I know that Jesus is alive today?”
The answer is: by the Holy Spirit.
After the resurrection, Jesus promised that He would send His Spirit. And it is precisely through Him that this test continues to happen.
While many people recognise the manifestation of spirits in this world, few understand that the greatest spiritual experience is to receive the Spirit of God.
He doesn’t just exist – He transforms.
He guides decisions, strengthens in difficulties and leads the lives of those who believe. It’s a real, noticeable and constant manifestation.
It’s not religion, it’s experience
Therefore, the Christian faith is not limited to a tradition or religious system. It’s not about being part of a denomination, but about knowing a living person.
Jesus is not an idea.
He is not an institution.
He is real – and continues to manifest Himself.
And those who receive the Holy Spirit become witnesses of Him.
A personal invitation
Finally, this message is not only informative – it is an invitation.
If, to this day, Jesus seems distant or just a story, know that this can change. He invites Himself: “Look for me”.
But there is one condition: you have to want, believe and give yourself.
Read the Word, talk to God and put this truth to the test. Because He hasn’t changed – He remains the same yesterday, today and forever.
And He’s ready to reveal Himself to you.
The decision is in your hands.
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of the Lord Jesus Himself acting on Earth. He lives through those who believe.
Watch until the end and find out how you too can become a witness to the resurrection.
