HOW TO CALM HEART ANXIETY

There is a way to overcome anxiety and turmoil and be cared for by God; just bring Him to your little boat.

The psalmist said in Psalm 38, verse 8: “I am feeble and severely broken; I groan because of the turmoil of my heart.”

Heart, in this context, is about the soul, about feelings, especially. The turmoil of emotions is when a person can’t rest or have peace.

And you know that to make the right decisions, better, more quality decisions, you need to be at peace, you need to be calm, and that’s what’s missing for many people nowadays. How can you be calm in the midst of tribulation? How can you be at peace amidst war? It’s really a challenge.

But I wonder how many people who need peace do not have it in their own house, supposedly our paradise, sanctuary, protection and strong castle. Right?

When we get home, we want peace because outside, there are wars, but at home, we want a wife, a husband, children, and parents who bring us peace.

We all need peace to make the right decisions, even amid war. And we know, for example, in the case of the Lord Jesus, that He went through many wars when He was here. He literally went through storms and, like that passage in which the little boat was being shaken in every way by the wind and waves in the sea, but He was sleeping. And the disciples, restless, disturbed, desperate, bothered by the calmness of Jesus.

I know that at certain times there are people who calm down at the wrong times, lack action, are very passive, accept everything and so on. I’m not talking about this kind of person; I’m talking about people who can stay calm during the storm, like the Lord Jesus. That’s a Divine ability.

Check out the entire message in the video above and learn the importance of keeping calm amid danger.
