HOW TO BE SURE OF YOUR SOUL'S SALVATION
Check out the message in the video below.
Think and answer honestly: are you saved? This is the most important question in life, because it concerns what is eternal in you: your soul.
The body ages, gets sick and returns to dust. The breath of life returns to God. But the soul is eternal. And it was because of it that the Lord Jesus came into the world.
The Bible is clear when it mentions…
“Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)
Jesus is the only one who can save the human soul because He was the only one to give His life for it. He came not to condemn, but to save everyone who believes. Condemnation does not come from God. It comes from the person’s own disbelief.
“HE who believes and is baptised will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.” (Mark 16:16)
Lack of faith, or rejecting the gospel, separates the soul from God.
But, save from what?
Salvation frees us from what awaits everyone who dies in their sins: the eternal separation from God.
In the Bible, death does not mean the end; it means separation. That’s why the loss of someone hurts so much, because we were separated from that person.
In Gethsemane, Jesus felt dread. Not for physical suffering, but for what was about to happen: to be torn from the Father and the Holy Spirit, carrying upon Himself the sins of all humanity.
He knew that, to pay for sin, someone would have to die. Although it was God, he was there as a man, subject to the same temptations; even so, he faced everything and won. He resurrected because death had no right over Him. Therefore, in Him, we can be saved.
