ANXIETY STEALS YOUR STRENGTH – HOW TO DEAL WITH THIS

Are you always anxious? There is an effective way to deal with this and regain your strength

“Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression, But a good word makes it glad” (Proverbs 12:25).

Those who live anxiously are very eager to reach some result. Obviously, the person needs strength. But, on the contrary, the person who has anxiety in the heart is depressed. In other words, getting what they want is even more challenging. The more anxious you get, the more difficult it is to achieve what you long for.

We are living in a world of anxiety. People no longer have patience; they can’t manage anxiety while doing something and waiting for what they want. They indulge in anxiety and get overwhelmed by procedures, steps, and people, and as a result, they get hurt.

You, who have been anxious, now know why you are so down. This anxiety steals your energy. As it is written in the verse above, you are depressed.

But there is good news: “[…] but a good word makes it glad”. What is anxiety, if not words, that provoke negative feelings in us?

Anxiety usually begins with the bad news that the person receives. But if the person wants to overcome anxiety, what should they do? They must tune in to the Word of God.

When we tune in to the Word of God, it calms us down and makes us rest and trust amid chaos. Because His Word is Him, It comes in, scares away the worry, and strengthens us.

Increase your connection with the Word. Use your anxiety to your advantage, at least.

“I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, And in His word I do hope. My soul waits for the Lord More than those who watch for the morning— Yes, more than those who watch for the morning” (Psalm 130:5,6).

The comparison is interesting because the guard can’t wait for dawn. After all, at night, the danger is greater.

So, use your anxiety to desire the presence of God. If you yearn for God’s presence, you will be answered quickly. Because God will satisfy you. That’s all He wants. If He sees a person like that, He answers them. And the person will find out that the things they were anxious about were unimportant.

How many conquer things and remain with emptiness and anxiety? The person has the illusion that what they want so much will supply their happiness.

The presence of God will supply the person, and they will no longer have this restlessness for things and people.

If you don’t do that, you will remain depressed and weak and will push away what you want. Seek the Word of God. Do not bring information to your ears that promotes your anxiety.
