Dilma’s victim to having rumors spread across the internet

Dilma
I recently received one of those e-mails that at first glance seem to have the good intentions of alerting against something serious. The message stated that Dilma Roussef, who’s running for President of the Republic of Brazil, recently said: “Even if Christ tried, he couldn’t take this victory from me.” The poorly written spam message said, “After inaugurating a committee in Minas Gerais, Dilma is interviewed by a local journalist …” Because the information was so vague (a committee in Minas Gerais, a local journalist), I began searching for more concrete evidence, like a video of the alleged statement or at least some audio, but I wasn’t able to find anything. Therefore, I knew it was a lie.

If Christians were as agile and efficient to use modern technology to preach the Gospel as they are to spread rumors, surely many more souls would be won for the Lord Jesus.

Those who think that their rendering service to the Kingdom of God by spreading this type of information without being sure of its veracity, are actually playing into the devil’s game.

The Lord Jesus doesn’t need lawyers or media advisers speaking in His “defense”. He needs real Christians who understand, live and preach the Truth.

We should be aware that there are people out there with bad intentions trying to confuse others by coming up with these elaborate lies in order to disrupt the earnest work of some of the other candidates. Think about that.
We are days away from the election, therefore, pay close attention on who you intend to vote for. Can that candidate bring possible harm to the Church? Vote wisely and responsibly.
