THE EYES OF GOD
Find out why your search for justice can attract His attention.
Faith. This is what awakens in us the desire to be seen by God. After all, who doesn’t want the Lord’s eyes to turn to their life?
But what makes someone get His attention?
God sees everything – but looks for someone specific
The Bible states, in 2 Chronicles 16:9, that the eyes of the Lord pass through the whole earth. In other words, nothing escapes His sight: attitudes, thoughts and intentions.
However, God is not just watching. He is looking for people in whom he can show Himself strong.
The heart that draws God’s attention
When the Word speaks of a “loyal” heart, it does not refer to someone without mistakes, but to an honest, sincere heart.
That is, God seeks those who desire what is right, even if they do not yet know everything.
This means that He does not look for impeccable people – He seeks true people.
When justice attracts God’s gaze
Many who today live the faith were criticised or rejected in the past. Still, they were reached by God.
Why?
Because, within them, there was a sense of justice. They wanted the right thing, even without fully understanding the truth.
And this desire was enough to get God’s attention.
The example of Cornelius
In Acts 10, we see the story of Cornelius, a Roman centurion who was not part of the people of Israel.
Still, he prayed, helped the needy and sought God with sincerity.
Result? God saw him.
The Lord promoted an encounter with the apostle Peter and poured the Holy Spirit on him and his family, showing His strength immediately.
The choice that makes the difference
Jesus taught: Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and everything else will be added.
Therefore, the question is not just wanting blessings, but deciding what comes first.
And you?
If you want God to look at your life, start with justice.
Put Him first, be sincere and look for what is right.
When this happens, God’s eyes meet you – and He shows Himself strong in your life.
Watch until the end… and find out what God saw in Cornelius, a Roman centurion, who had a great experience with God.
