The sting of death

For many, sin is something enjoyable, beautiful, and easy to do. It is very tempting; it satisfies the flesh in such a way that it gives off the feeling of well-being, of satisfaction, but few know that it is honey in the mouth, but becomes a gall in the stomach.

Sin is like a delicious, but poisoned banquet. Those who sin are beside themselves and have no idea of the wages they will have to pay (death).

For the wages of sin is death… Romans 6.23

Scripture says:

The sting of death is sin… 1 Corinthians 15.56

The sting of death is like a sharp iron used to brand cattle; it pierces, perforating the skin. When a person lives in disobedience to the Word of God, as in adultery, prostitution, lying, etc., the spirit of death pierces its sting (sin) in the soul, causing all sorts of anguish, suffering, and pain. Lets not even mention the hole (void), which is like torture, day and night without rest.

Attending church meetings, wearing an assistant’s uniform, or a pastor’s tie, in short, nothing and no one is able to pull that sting out of his soul, only the Lord Jesus has this authority.

But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins… Matthew 9.6

Jesus went to the cross and was pierced by the sting of death, bearing all our sins upon Himself. His Blood, which was shed on the cross, is able to wash the soul and make it whiter than snow. However, this is only possible when the person sincerely repents, confesses and gives up such sin. Otherwise, he will remain with the sting of transgression stuck in his being until the end of his life; after that, he will, unfortunately spend eternity with the bearers of death.

If you are living in this situation, there is only one way out! Right now, wherever you are reading this message, bow before the Most High and surrender. Only He can save you from spiritual death. He is waiting for you to surrender body, soul, and spirit. No matter what you have done wrong so far, what matters is what will happen now, right where you are. Surrender at His feet, and you will find relief for your soul because He has assured:

Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11.28
